We invite you to meet the team… Rob Cappellini, CEO and Co-Founder Rob's 14 years of management experience with a Fortune 500 homebuilding company and his in depth understanding of the key elements which effect our local real estate markets, have proven to be invaluable in the growth and development of The Evergreene Companies. Prior to founding The Evergreene Companies in 2007, Rob spent numerous years in production, costing, sales, and management, all of which culminated in his role as Vice President and General Manager of a large and very successful homebuilding division in Northern VA. This valuable work experience is the foundation that inspired the belief that for The Evergreene Companies to be successful, it should be built with unwavering customer service, exciting new designs, strong relationships within the homebuilding community and a team comprised of talented and dedicated professionals. Joe Ricketts, CFO and Co-Founder Prior to the formation of Evergreene, Joe served as the CFO for Centex Homes in the DC Metro market and later as the Division Manager for Centex's Northern Virginia operation. During his 15 years at Centex, Joe lead a financial group that managed annual sales revenues approaching $1 billion and a balance sheet that contained land assets valued in excess of $600 million. In three years as the Division Manager for Centex's Northern Virginia Operation, Joe oversaw land development, sales, and construction operations that closed an annual average of approximately 1,000 homes. Joe's ability to structure and tailor deals based on the unique individual needs of each deal enables Evergreene to optimize the value of the land that it acquires. Joe holds the firm belief that if a Buyer and Seller can effectively align their goals in a transaction and cooperatively work together, then all parties will benefit while also building positive and productive long term relationships. Lonnie Carter, Principal Lonnie brings over 17 years of experience in sales, marketing and relationship management to The Evergreene Companies. He has recently joined our team after years of successfully procuring land in strategic locations for Centex Homes. He has a strong background in land acquisition and contract negotiation and understands how to effectively structure new deals. This experience gives him the ability to assess risk, determine the feasibility of projects and oversee all aspects of the land development process. Bob Davis, Principal Robert Davis brings over 30 years of executive homebuilding management experience to the team at The Evergreene Companies. Prior to founding RKD Limited, a real estate consulting and acquisition LLC, Bob spent 13 years in management at Centex Homes, most recently as Regional Executive Vice President. Prior to Centex, Bob spent close to 17 years at Pulte Homes in various positions, the most recent being that of the President of the Virginia Division. In addition to his extensive background in operations management, Bob also brings a vast amount of experience and expertise in land acquisition, land planning and development. Dave Ryan, CPA, JD, Principal Mr. Ryan has served in a number of real estate-related capacities ranging from Centex Homes – Division Manager Eastern Shore, Vice President – Residential Development for Carl M Freeman Associates, and Vice-President – Development for NRS Realty Services (Kansas City Southern Industries). He has also served as CEO for several portfolio companies of a Boston-based Venture Capital firm, practiced law in Washington DC, and started his career as an auditor for Price Waterhouse Coopers. He has managed resort and residential developments in Hilton Head, SC, Longboat Key, Fl, and Worcester and Sussex Counties on the Eastern Shore. Mr. Ryan is a Magna cum Laude graduate from Georgetown Law Center and has a BS in Accounting from the University of Vermont. Greg Oxley, Director & General Counsel Greg Oxley comes to The Evergreene Companies with over 22 years of experience in real estate, banking and law. Prior to entering the private practice of law and business, Greg spent over 20 years as a military officer and attorney with the U.S. Coast Guard / Department of Homeland Security (Lieutenant Commander, U.S. Coast Guard (Retired)). He has served on the board of directors of a publicly traded national banking association; practiced law where he focuses on real estate, title and escrow and business law matters; he built and managed a national title insurance and escrow agency; served as president of a national title insurance underwriter; he is a past president of a national IRS Section 1031 Like-Kind-Exchange company; and he has also served in senior executive positions with several banks. Greg also heads up The Evergreene Companies' affiliated real estate title agency, Centerview Title Group, LLC. Greg's extensive experience in law and business demonstrate his depth of understanding of residential and commercial real estate transactions, corporate governance, business management and company transformation and growth. At The Evergreene Companies, he is an essential leadership team member helping to guide the companies as a leader in residential construction, land acquisition, development and construction and title services. William P. Daffan II, President, Olde Red General Contracting - Commercial Construction Division As the President of Olde Red, LLC, Bill works with clients to evaluate sites, establish budgets, develop the construction process to construct the project in the most efficient manner and to assemble the team needed to manage all aspects of the construction project to meet the individual needs of our clients. Prior to joining our group Bill owned and operated a family general contracting and design-build company for 32 years. Bill was nationally recognized in the INC. 5,000’s List of fastest-growing companies in 2007. Bill received awards and was listed among the Top 100 Builders in the nation by Metal Construction News for years 1995, 1997, 1998 and 2011. Bill also successfully developed a design-build program for office buildings, industrial warehouses, light commercial and retail centers, in addition to churches and sports activities centers. Bill negotiated a merger between his family general contracting business and a large multi-company national group with annual sales over 400 million and continued as Vice President of Business Development for the next 5 years. Bill has developed procedures and processes to work in conjunction with the business owner and the design professional on any project to insure the owner's needs and expectations are being met to produce a successful project. The Olde Red team is perfectly suited to assist clients in project design, value engineering, estimating, bidding, permitting and construction. Bill has formulated and managed his Design/Build Program involving local Realtors, Bankers, Attorneys, Engineers and Architects to develop the right team for each specific project. Bill continues to work with local counties to improve the plans and permitting process. As President of the Prince William County Task Group, Bill and his team stay current with any changes to the local and state codes insuring the business owners are fully informed of all current or pending changes. George Hamilton, President, Maryland Division George joins the Evergreene team after 25 successful and rewarding years of residential homebuilding experience in the Washington Metro Area. As the President of our Maryland Homebuilding Division, George leads a talented team in our effort to provide Evergreene homeowners with an exceptional homebuilding experience. Prior to joining The Evergreene Companies, George had been responsible for managing the operations of regional homebuilding teams that consistently delivered 200- 300 homes annually. George's leadership ability, his knowledge and his extensive hands on experience provide the tools required to develop each and every Evergreene community and home into a great place to live. Josh Mastrangelo, President, Coastal Division Mr. Mastrangelo’s professional background includes work in both the private and public sectors in New York, Connecticut, Virginia, Maryland and Delaware, most recently managing Land Acquisition’s for one of Nation’s largest Homebuilders in the Mid-Atlantic Region. Josh served as the Division Land Manager on the Eastern Shore of Maryland and the Delaware Beach Area Operations for a mid-size homebuilding/development operation, Josh has directed multiple real estate development projects, including liaison to and oversight of cross-functional consultant teams made up business partners, land owners, engineers, attorneys, appraisers, lenders, government officials and other builders from acquisition to closeout, as well as management of multiple large heavy civil projects involving roads, highway improvements, storm sewers, sanitary sewer treatment and collection systems, water treatment and distribution systems, large publicly sponsored redevelopment projects. Josh has extensive experience with Federal, State and Municipal regulations and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners. Keith Jones, Vice President of Operations As a member of the Executive Management Team at the Evergreene Companies, Keith Jones applies over 25 years of Project Management experience to our growing Human Resource needs and Corporate Strategic Planning functions. As our Company has grown, Keith has been instrumental in our effort to fill key roles with new people who enthusiastically apply the skills and talents learned from their diverse professional experiences to build on our track record of success. In addition to the leadership he provides in the areas of Human Resources and Planning, Keith also provides extensive operational knowledge and experience to manage our licensing across all operational areas and geographies. Over his tenure with our team, he has also evolved into the critical role of overseeing the important regulatory criteria associated with meeting corporate compliance requirements at the State and Federal level and for managing important insurance policies for the company. Keith’s attention to detail has made him an invaluable member of the team and his tireless efforts inspire everyone around him. Todd Garrison, Vice President of Construction Todd utilizes his 20 years of homebuilding experience to provide the leadership necessary to build some of the best homes in the industry. He is responsible for the review of new designs prior to their release and the establishment of phase specifications, product selection, field management and ultimately customer satisfaction. Todd makes sure his team remains focused on all the details, which ultimately build in value for each project. Todd is active from the initial project design phase through the project’s completion. Rich Rudnicki, Director of Sales & Marketing Rich Rudnicki has been part of the building industry in the Washington metropolitan area for over 25 years. Prior to joining The Evergreene Companies, Rich served 22 years as a Division Sales Manager for Winchester Homes. During his tenure he recruited, hired, trained and supervised sales teams responsible for selling and settling 250 – 400 homes per year. Rich consistently achieved annual sales goals through a combination goal setting and coaching efforts. Prior to entering sales management, Rich personally sold over 1200 homes as a Community Sales Manager for Ryan Homes and NVHomes. Tim Sopko, Director of Custom Homes Tim Sopko brings more than 14 years of sales, marketing and management experience to The Evergreene Companies. During his 10 years with a Fortune 500 National Home Builder, he gained valuable experience in various roles including Construction Management, Sales and Sales Management. As a Project Manager, Tim managed the construction process and worked closely with his clients through periodic meetings and constant contact to ensure they felt included in the process. His experience in the field provides an invaluable perspective which helps Evergreene clients during lot / site evaluation as well as design. His extensive sales and marketing background provides him exceptional insight into areas and topics that are top of mind for today’s sophisticated consumer. Over the years, Tim has learned that there is no perfect recipe when it comes to purchasing or designing your dream home. His philosophy is simple. Each client’s vision and goals are unique and deserve a customized and collaborative approach in order to be achieved. Tim’s extensive homebuilding background and focus on providing an unparalleled customer experience gives him the ability to truly partner with our clients to guide them through the process of building the home of their dreams. Amy Polk, Land Operations Coordinator Amy joins the Evergreene team with over 20 years of experience in the real estate development and homebuilding industry working with both private and public home builders and developers. She has been responsible for the coordination of land entitlement and land development activities which includes working with engineers to ensure plan and plat approvals and site permit issuance for a timely development start. Additionally, Amy has been responsible for establishing and overseeing the operations of condominium and homeowners associations throughout the DC Metro region. She has assisted in the feasibility review process for potential new land and lot purchase opportunities and rezoning efforts. Amy’s well rounded experience with land activities will make a positive impact in all facets of Evergreene’s land operations. Jon Hand, Project Manager – Preston Lake, Harrisonburg, VA Jon joins the Evergreen team with over a decade of experience with two national builders. As the Evergreene Homes Project Manager at Preston Lake in Harrisonburg, VA, Jon is responsible for the construction management of five exciting new Home Portfolios styles. Jon will work directly with homeowners, county building inspectors and a hand picked team of the regions best Sub-contractors to ensure the homes are built to exceed everyone’ s expectations. Jon leads our team in all construction related activities from the initial contracting phase through the project’s completion. Jon works directly with our Sales team to guide Homeowners through the Homebuilding process and to establish accurate expectations with each Homeowner in his effort to provide an unmatched buying experience. As a former collegiate and professional athlete, Jon applies his appreciation for the value of assembling a great team to the home building industry. His experience managing large scale projects and his ability to proactively overcome obstacles enables him to coordinate the effort of all parties and to continue Evergreene’s tradition of thrilling our Homeowners. Greg Shope, Vice President of Purchasing & Estimating Greg brings over 30 years of experience in the construction industry to The Evergreene Companies. Greg's expertise ranges from managing 84 Lumber stores to managing the purchasing, estimating and architectural departments of several large national home building companies. His leadership and experience has allowed him to design and implement a streamlined cost system for The Evergreene Companies. This gives our clients an undeniable advantage in cost estimating and purchasing for residential or commercial projects ranging from townhomes and single family homes to multifamily and high rise developments. Jim Melsop, Vice President of Purchasing & Estimating Jim joins the Evergreene team with over 20 years of residential homebuilding experience. Prior to joining Evergreene, Jim had been responsible for managing the product development, estimating, purchasing and production of apartment, condominium, and multi-family projects throughout the Midwest to the Mid Atlantic regions. Jim provides expertise in managing the purchasing, estimating and product development functions, which ensures the critical continuity between concept, finance, and production. Patrick V. Bebout, General Manager Patrick joined the Evergreene team after completing his Master of Science in Building Construction at the University of Florida, where he concentrated in Sustainable Construction. Prior to completing his Masters program, Patrick gained valuable professional experience as a consultant in the information technology industry and in various roles at NVR gaining great insight into the homebuilding industry. As an I.T. professional, he designed and implemented a wide variety of business solutions for multiple clients. As a construction professional, Patrick helped both a national home builder as well as a framing company in the Northern Virginia area streamline operations. Today, Patrick leverages both his technology and construction knowledge to provide solutions and opportunities as the General Manager of our exciting and growing team. His operational expertise enables us to create efficiencies which ultimately contribute to the success of each and every new project. Debby James, Director of Design Prior to joining The Evergreene Companies, Debby spent the last 10 years managing teams that provided professional consulting services to clients seeking to bring new life to existing homes. She takes pride in listening carefully to understand the needs and desires of every client and communicates with team members, architects and project managers to assure the projects’ success. Her expertise in interior and exterior design for both residential and commercial projects allows her to combine extensive drafting, space planning, and furniture design with the use of color, form and texture to make her clients’ vision a reality.
